Child safety standards
Adults only. No tolerance for child sexual abuse or exploitation.
These standards explain how Matchelier prevents, identifies, and responds to child sexual abuse and exploitation in its private matchmaking service.
1. Adults-only service
Matchelier is only for people aged 18 or older. We restrict access for users Google has determined to be minors. We may request additional confirmation, pause access, or close an account when we reasonably suspect that a person is under 18.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
Matchelier prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual extortion involving a child, trafficking or solicitation of a child, and any attempt to create, possess, share, request, or promote such content or conduct. This prohibition applies to messages, voice content, photos, account details, and every other use of the service.
3. How to report a concern
A member can report a child-safety concern in the private in-app concierge conversation and request human review. Anyone may also email support@matchelier.ch. Please describe the concern without forwarding or attaching suspected CSAM. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
4. Our response
We review credible reports, may restrict or close accounts, and preserve relevant records when necessary for safety or legal compliance. Where required by applicable law, Matchelier reports apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation to the competent regional or national authorities. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities while limiting disclosure to what is necessary.
